5A03 Aluminum Sheet is a kind of AL-MG antirust aluminum alloy. It is the most commonly used material in construction.
The magnesium content of 5A03 is slightly higher than 5754 aluminum alloy. So the corrosion resistance and tensile strength of 5A03 are higher than 5754. The silicon content of 5A03 alloy is higher than 5754, so the welding performance is better than 5754. It can be used for gas welding, argon arc welding, Spot welding and seam welding.
Magnesium aluminum alloys such as 5A03 and 5754 have high strength. It is easy to process, easy to color and has good corrosion resistance. The strength is not affected by temperature and humidity. It has a lightweight and long service life. So, aluminum alloy sound barriers mainly use 5A03 and 5754 alloys.

5A03 aluminum plate Heat treatment
Homogenization annealing
Heating 460 ~ 475 °C; Heat Preservation 12 ~ 14h; air cooling.
Rapid annealing
Heating 350 ~ 410 °C; holding time 30 ~ 120 min; air or water cooling.
High temperature annealing
Heating 350 ~ 420 °C, holding time 10 ~ 30min when finished product thickness ≥6mm. When the thickness of the finished product is less than 6mm, the holding time is 2 ~ 10min and air cooling.
Low temperature annealing
Heating 250 ~ 300 °C, holding time 1 ~ 2h, air cooling.
