7CrSiMnMoV belongs to the series of high carbon low alloy cold work tool steel. The typical elements are Cr, Si, Mn. A little amount of strengthening elements, like Mo and V are also included.
7CrSiMnMoV is a new type of cold work tool mold steel. It has good hardenability and can be hardened by Air cooling. Its hardness can reach HRC62~64. The quenching deformation is small. The steel has high strength and excellent toughness.

Annealing: 860 to 840℃, slow cooling in furnace 3 to 4 hrs, down to approx. 550℃, cooling in air. Hardness after annealing: max. 241HB.
